How To Get Paid To Play And Test Video Games

Are you really wanting to get paid to beta test video games? You need to
take the opportunity seriously as if you are doing it just for "fun", you
won't get very many opportunities for future game testing. The reality is
that it is often equally as stressful as a 9-5 job in an office.

You must have a passion for video games. There are no exceptions since you
will be doing this for several hours per day, each week. As a serious beta
tester, I am expected to play games for over thirty hours per week, at a
minimum!

Are you willing to put that much time into this? To make that level of
commitment? Making money beta testing is easy, but to earn an income to
live well is a substantially more ambitious goal. You are perpetually
getting new games to test, and you may easily end up behind if you don't
catch up for any reason.

It is absolutely crutial that you take all deadlines seriously. It's not a
time for you to hang out with your friends and enjoy playing a new game.
You have got to concentrate and focus and besure to note all problems you
come across such as bugs and crashes.

Your feedback is extremely important, and game development companies do
not take your opinions lightly. This is why they hired you in the first
place!

Here is an important tip that most poeple do not realize: You can't always
pick your favorite genre. For instance, if you do not like first person
shooters, you might not have a choice but to try them. You cannot always
have fun being a beta tester, and that's what you have have to understand.
